The 4th Annual Bluebonnet Open was this past weekend - let's talk about it!

The event was held at Monahan Ranch DGC in Santonio - this is the second year the event has been hosted at this amazing course, getting its start at Joe Painter Hillside DGC in Live Oak, Texas. Amy Monahan (TD) worked with Alan Janzen to have custom made coffee mugs as one of the player pack items. Alan has been making pottery for the past several years, and the mugs were truly one of a kind!
Fierce Competition From Across the Nation!
The tournament had 55 female competitors, largely from different parts of Texas, PLUS 2 women from Pennsylvania (Caryn Shearer and Donna Griest)! The Wildflower events have a true family vibe, and this event was no different. The comraderie and support shown on and off the course this weekend was amazing. 
A Raffle to Remember!
Thank you to everyone that supported the raffle (donating items and/or purchasing tickets). We were able to raise $920 from the raffle, where half of the proceeds will go to sponsor junior competitors in the upcoming WGE Glamour & Grit and Live Oak Summer Open tournaments. The remaining proceeds will go towards running more local events and clinics in the San Antonio area.
